Air-Dry Clay Sculpture Class (5th–12th Grade)
Get ready for a creative clay adventure! In this hands-on class, young artists will use colorful air-dry clay to design and sculpt imaginative monsters, robots, fantasy creatures, animals, or anything else they can dream up. Whether it's wiggly antennae, giant eyeballs, mechanical gears, funny horns, or completely original ideas, students will explore their creativity while learning fundamental clay-building techniques.
This class is perfect for students in 5th–12th grade who enjoy creating in three dimensions. We'll practice shaping, rolling, pinching, carving, texturing, and attaching clay pieces as we bring our unique sculptures to life. Students are encouraged to express their own artistic style and imagination, and there are no limits to what they can create. Monsters and robots are simply fun project ideas—the choice is entirely theirs!
Each student will leave with a one-of-a-kind air-dry clay sculpture and the confidence to continue exploring the exciting world of sculpting.
